ALAN TANG

Chairman, CEO & Executive Creative Director

“Belief in the force for good” is a particularly powerful quote that serves as an inspiration for this serial entrepreneur and award-winning marketing and business strategist. Born in Malaysia even before Yoda hit the big screen, Alan has been promoting values-driven business practices for the past three decades. Clients and  friends alike have called him a dynamic professional who is a brilliant problem-solver and incredible team player. He is described as authentic while being an out-of-the-box thinker. Perhaps it’s obvious that he is one with the Force and the Force is with him.

CAROLE TANG

Chief Brand & Communications Officer and Executive Vice President

Getting to the essence of who an organization is, what it stands for, and how it communicates and lives its values while building trust in a 24/7/365 digital world is what excites and energizes this brand and communications strategist. As a member of our executive leadership team, Carole oversees our communications department and partners with clients on strategic initiatives. In her spare time, this Honolulu native enjoys traveling with family, including Alan and their two grown children; sampling gourmet foods; hiking; photography; art; yoga and mindfulness exercises.

NATALIE COOK

Chief Marketing Officer

When this doting mother isn’t showing us the latest photos or videos of her spunky toddler daughter, she’s hard at work overseeing marketing strategies for the agency’s clients. Natalie is a marketing planner at heart and specializes in advertising and data-driven digital initiatives. Although she has called Hawai‘i “home” for nearly two decades, this Windy City native admits to missing beefs (“seriously delicious Italian Beef Sandwiches with sweet peppers, giardiniera and melted mozzarella cheese”) and her family in Chicago (but not necessarily in that order).

LIANE HU OKUMURA, APR

Senior Director of Communications & Public Relations

Don’t let her petite frame fool you! Liane is a tough go-getter who specializes in communications, public relations and multi-channel content generation. Born and raised in Hawai‘i, this Boston University alumna’s career has taken her as far away as the epicenter for English majors: London, England. When she’s not managing integrated communications campaigns, Liane enjoys board games and spending time with her husband and their dog, Barney (named after a character in the “How I Met Your Mother” TV show and definitely not the dinosaur).

A Maui native, Katie came home to Hawai‘i in 2019 and brought her love of politics with her. When she isn’t managing community relations and communications initiatives, she can be found exploring the island of O‘ahu, as well as the virtual islands of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

GORDON PANG

Content Manager

Born and raised in Honolulu, Gordon Pang has more than three decades of experience as a daily newspaper reporter in Hawai‘i. Making sense of complex issues like city budgets and new laws and explaining them to readers was his trademark. After graduating from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa with a journalism degree, Gordon worked at newspapers on Hawai‘i Island. It was there he cut his teeth covering everything from the closing of sugar plantations to lava outbreaks. He carried that small-town newspaper mentality with him back to Honolulu newsrooms. As Content Manager, he will continue to bring stories from across Hawai‘i to life. His extracurricular activities include “making A” with his media friends in the bi-annual Gridiron show that raises money for aspiring journalists.

If your customers are viewing media that our agency has produced, on screens of all shapes and sizes, Britney is the master behind what they see. She excels in producing videos and images for digital, social media and traditional channels. In addition, she manages the creative department. When this Hawai‘i Island girl and animal lover isn’t behind the camera, she enjoys being active outdoors and in the gym, and is a big fan of Boston teams (go Celtics and Patriots!).

BRIAN DUMASLAN

Senior Graphic Designer

You can tell Brian has been working hard by the number of unfinished coffee drinks on his desk (iced black or a caramel macchiato when the diet goes out the window). A connoisseur of all things design, Brian is always on the lookout for new ways to delight, inspire and stay on trend.

JUSTIN TANG

Motion Graphics Artist & Animator, Videographer

A graduate of USC’s prestigious School of Cinematic Arts, Justin brings his considerable talents in 3D animation, game design, motion graphics and videography to create that special “oomph” for clients’ TV spots, videos and digital ads.
