Creative Director

Julian oversees our creative team. Originally from New Zealand, he has extensive experience in developing creative strategies for multimedia marketing campaigns that integrate traditional, digital and social media strategies for local, regional and national brands. He has worked at agencies in Hawai‘i, Minnesota, New Zealand and Australia. Julian is a past mentor and instructor at the University of Hawai‘i Pacific New Media program. When he’s not creating bold, amazing work, you’ll find him outdoors surfing the waves.

Controller

A veteran of the finance industry, Jessica brings 20 years of experience in all facets of finance and accounting. Jessica is also a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps who hails from West Virginia. She holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and is completing her Doctorate of Executive Leadership from the University of Charleston. In her spare time, she enjoys doing dissertation research, exploring Hawai‘i, and spending time with her Yorkshire Terrier, Chewy.

Natalie Cook

Chief Operating Officer & Vice President of Marketing

Natalie oversees marketing strategy, advertising, multi-channel data-driven direct marketing, and community outreach. She has 15 years of experience working with a variety of clients in healthcare, energy, education, retail and nonprofit industries throughout the state. Originally from Chicago, Natalie is a graduate of Hawai‘i Pacific University. She is a past president of Ad 2 Honolulu and recipient of the 2007 Outstanding Young Ad Person of the Year award. Natalie and her husband are the parents of a toddler and the owners of two dogs.

Alan Tang

Chairman, CEO & President

Alan founded the agency in 1996 after previously serving in senior positions for privately-owned businesses, Hawai‘i Top 250 companies and a Fortune 500 corporation. His background includes more than 25 years of experience in executive counsel, reputation management, business development, revenue strategy, marketing and data analytics. As a leader and strategist, Alan combines a passion for big-picture thinking and clear, results-driven solutions. His vision for business enterprise, community transformation and leadership development serves as an inspiration to peers and colleagues in Hawai‘i, nationally and abroad.

Active in the community, Alan has held numerous board leadership positions for organizations and professional associations at the local, regional and national levels. He frequently serves as a speaker at industry conferences and professional association meetings. A man of many interests, Alan enjoys indigenous history and culture, travel, ethnic and gourmet cuisines, and the cinematic and performing arts.

Carole Tang

Chief Brand & Communications Officer and Executive Vice President

Carole provides senior leadership and oversees communications strategy, brand management, corporate identity, and public and media relations. With more than 25 years of experience in both corporate and agency environments, Carole’s expertise encompasses strategic counsel, corporate and marketing communications, brand identity and management, annual reports and publications, and creative direction. She serves a variety of clients in the fields of energy, education, healthcare, financial services and nonprofit organizations. Before joining the agency, she worked for several sector leaders in Hawai‘i, including Bank of Hawaii, Kamehameha Schools, and Hawai‘i Pacific Health. Carole enjoys travel, art and gourmet cuisine.

Mika Keauli‘i

Director of Finance

Mika is responsible for the financial operations of the agency as well as business financial consulting for select clients. A certified public accountant by training, she has previously worked for Arizona’s largest HMO and for Texas Instruments, where she gained experience in financial forecast modeling and accounting information systems. Although not a native of Hawai‘i (she considers Illinois her home state), she married a ‘local boy’ Hawaiian and was quickly adopted by his ‘ohana, immersed in the culture, and has learned to cook traditional Hawaiian foods.
